Lomond Steam & Fire

Loch Lomond Steam & Fire is a bold, modern single malt crafted through the perfect balance of tradition and innovation. Distilled using both the distillerys unique straight-neck pot stills and classic swan-neck stills, this whisky already carries a naturally rich and fruity character before it even touches wood.

Its matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels and refill American oak, then finished in heavily charred American oak caskscharred in Loch Lomonds own cooperage. This deep charring draws out layers of caramelised sugars, roasted oak and subtle smoke, giving the whisky its signature depth.

Expect aromas of toffee, vanilla and warm spice, followed by a silky palate of candied orange, brown sugar, coffee and toasted marshmallow. The finish is smooth and lingering with dark chocolate and a gentle, rounded smokiness. A great pick if you enjoy a richer style of Highland whisky with sweetness, warmth and a touch of fire-kissed oak.
